This position is the overall in charge of the implementation of approved IFP projects, Corporate Alliance projects, IT projects and ad hoc project management request from time to time to suit business need. This position is required to establish and maintain structured processes for all members of the FAM organization to comply with in different stages of the project life cycle, and develop metrics to measure the performance of different FAM teams.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a team of project managers and construction experts in different engineering disciplines and building professionals to deliver a portfolio of projects.
- Direct and provide guidance to overall project management to achieve strategic benefit and objectives from planned projects and investments in line with specified quality, budget and timeline. Develop, monitor and review the Master Project Plan, Project Management plan, Master Construction Scheduling and Master Project Cost Plan.
- Direct and review annual and long-range integrated Facility Project Plans in line with the local and global business plans and direct comprehensive analysis relating to feasibility, operating requirements, financial returns, environmental impacts, technical and local code compliances, funding and resources planning, development issues and other key strategic project related issues.
- Direct and develop an overall strategic project plan setting out the project management approach for the planned projects with project structure, role of project participants and mechanisms to plan, implement, monitor and review the project development in accordance with the project objectives.
- Direct and develop a strategy of how the projects will be procured, lead bid preparation and assessment, taking into consideration specific project nature in term of time, cost, design, specified quality standard.
- Direct and provide guidance to overall construction strategy including phasing and sequencing, logistics, safety plan, quality control and delivery.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Architecture/ Building Surveying / Engineering or related disciplines
- 10 years’ relevant technical and project management, portfolio management experience. Experience in project management role on large scale commercial / retail / hotel projects with a client organization is preferred.
- Qualification of Member of HKIA, HKIS or HKIE is required.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and analytical skills required. Strong ability to balance the competing requirements of a wide variety of stakeholders and yet meeting delivery timeline and budget.
- Excellent leadership across all levels of organization and able to lead a professional department.
