THE JOB:
The Promotions Manager will be responsible for concepting, budgeting, planning, developing, executing, and analyzing all the properties retail promotions and gifting programs.
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Hire, motivate, evaluate, and manage department Supervisors, Coordinators, Representatives and other Team Members within the divisions organizational chart, ensuring all Team Members receive the training, support, guidance, and necessary resources to accomplish established objectives.
Establish operating department standards, guidelines, and objectives, and maintain other administrative processes such as budget and staffing to ensure proper planning, efficiency, and effective operation of assigned areas.
Direct long and short-term planning for all property level events and promotions and gifting programs, including analysis of programs and market opportunities, program effectiveness, and development of strategies to ensure adequate level of guest satisfaction and achievement of established revenue goals.
Plan, forecast, execute, and evaluate all promotion and gifting programs designed to increase trips frequency, increase database counts, and/or increase win per patron
Monitor department expenses; prepare budgets and forecasts.
Plan, organize, and coordinate assigned promotional and gifting projects in conjunction with marketing department objectives, company objectives, and compiles both the forecasted response rates and profitability per program and reconciles these forecasts against the actuals.
Guide direction on all promotion and gifting collateral pieces, in conjunction with the advertising agency and/or in-house art staff.
Make recommendations on property-related marketing issues to ensure that the company can make informed decisions on all relevant matters.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent Casino industry experience.
3+ years of prior Leadership experience.
5+ years of prior Events Planning and or Casino Marketing experience.
Experience with programming kiosk campaigns.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, casino systems and other relevant software.
Proficient in advertising information and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
Knowledge of IGT player tracking systems
Self‐driven and able to easily communicate creative ideas, collaborating with various stakeholders.
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, including public speaking with a positive and motivational speaking style.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams and all levels of management
Comfortable speaking in front of large crowds and/or on a microphone
A leader with the ability to inspire, motivate colleagues throughout the company.
Excellent organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints and within established deadlines, with particular attention to detail.
Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts.
