About the Role & Program
Disney Experiences (DX) strategic objectives include sustaining growth across franchise portfolio and expanding a franchise management approach across our businesses and regions. Our vision is to build an aligned Franchise strategy to drive measurable value against established goals for DX and the enterprise. To realize this vision, the DX Franchise Strategy team’s remit is to find opportunities and gaps across our Franchises, provide prioritization, drive alignment, and support Franchise programs across the DX portfolio!


What You Will Do
As the Consumer Franchise Strategy Intern, your journey will be filled with opportunities to learn and grow, all while contributing to our dynamic organization!
A day on the job may include:

  • Support Senior Manager, Consumer Franchise Strategy in coordinating and driving project plans and ad hoc assignments

  • Develop a keen understanding of the various businesses within the Global Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products segment and apply that knowledge to assigned projects

  • Compile and build reports and decks on industry and competitive data in support of franchise strategies

  • Evaluate consumer insights and develop a strategic POV

  • Coordinate and participate in task force meetings, develop recaps, and supervise next steps

  • Establish relationships through daily communications with many The Walt Disney Company partners

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong ability to synthesize a variety of insights and data points to develop conclusions or create hypothesizes and determine what we need to know to support or reject the hypothesis

  • Critical thinking and creative problem solving

  • Possesses an ambitious spirit, diligent, and a strong desire to understand our consumers 

  • Highly detail-oriented; strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to discreetly handle confidential information

  • Self-starter, adept at working independently, managing multiple priorities at once, and managing time well

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills

  • Resourceful, strategic, and adaptable to change

Education

  • Undergraduate students in their senior year (or recently graduated within the past six months) pursuing a bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications or related field

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements

  • Be enrolled in a college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR have graduated from a college/university within the past six (6) months OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship

  • Be at least 18 years of age

  • Possess unrestricted work authorization

  • Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program

Additional Information

  • Be compliant with The Disney Look appearance guidelines

  • The approximate dates of this internship are January 2025 through June 2025

  • Ability to work full time hours (approximately 40 hours per week) Monday - Friday, for the duration of the internship with possible evenings and weekends if necessary

  • This internship is a hybrid position and requires a working, reliable internet connection as well as a quiet, dedicated workspace

  • Able to provide own housing for the duration of the internship program in the Orlando Florida area and have reliable transportation to/from work
