Role x You:
You will be responsible for proactively defining and delivering new opportunities and revenue streams to drive growth within Virtue.. You will have a love of working with Executive level teams internal, C-Suite external clients, and stakeholders to drive business success. You are the strategic advisor to our clients both prospective and current.
This role is responsible for driving new business growth in the local market. You will be a valuable leader and manager to our regional new business teams, spotting opportunities and assessing their suitability for the markets in which we work against revenue targets.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage global pitches and support local N.A new business pitches as your home market
  • Collaborate across regions to bring the best of our teams across disciplines to pitch
  • Support active prospecting, establishing good momentum and a sense of ownership in the markets
  • Manage the delivery of creds, RFIs, RFPs, pitch presentations and all pitch collateral, with a keen eye for detail
  • Seamless pitch project management covering all aspects from kick off to close, building and governing workstreams to ensure all deadlines are met and work is of the highest possible standard
  • Enjoy seeking and making new connections with a proven skill set of generating new opportunities.
  • Can-do attitude and an adept ability to manage the consistently multiple spinning plates that come from managing new business in an ambitious business
  • Be able to properly assess opportunities within the agency in terms of fit, competitive pricing, etc
  • Deliver on the strategy of sustained, purposeful and profitable growth
  • Define and shape the new business strategy globally and make sure our offering resonates within the competitive market landscape (if not offer ways in to better sell it)
  • Understand how to organically grow opportunities across existing clients and be able to tap in and help where needed
  • Manage and lead a global team to create proactive strategic POVs for chemistry meetings, working very closely with the Management team per region
  • Represent and promote the interests of Virtue with potential clients and ability to mine for opportunities
  • Finger on the pulse in terms of bigger AOR opportunities and getting Virtue into big pitches
  • Ability to nurture, lead and grow a business development team at varying levels
  • Work closely with Comms team to promote our work across our social channels, newsletter, proactive client outreach email / showcase of our work, etc
  • Properly manage the pitch budgets and vetting ideas to make sure doable within budget
  • Be the primary liaison between all pitch consultants and ensure ongoing communication of our offering is socialised with key contacts and we’re included in upcoming work
You have these:
  • Experience leading a business development function in a high paced creative agency environment, driving opportunities and exceeding targets
  • Proven track record as a high performing Business Development Lead or Growth role
  • Proven track record of influencing senior stakeholders
  • Successful at pitching and converting leads into new clients
  • Positive with a global growth mindset with a focus on driving net new business and organic growth
  • Commercially astute and able to quickly identify, understand and articulate a range of strategic business challenges to identify and leverage opportunities
  • Strong collaborators with multiple partners with proven influencing skills
  • Champion the skills of the agency teams and support them with strategy, presentation, influencing and building relationships
  • Confident speaker and networker with experience of attending events and conferences to represent the agency
  • Strong rolodex of clients that would speak highly of you and you’d be able to reach out to upon starting
  • Ability to anticipate project needs and discern work priorities
  • You have flawless English language ability with outstanding communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to read a room and make connections with C-suite clients / executives
  • Excellent business acumen, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience and comfort in a fast-paced environment, with an ability to anticipate and respond quickly to change

Pay Range Details:
New York/California - 220,000 USD to 245,000 USD
