Who Are We Looking For?
We are looking for a Senior Email Copywriter to join our growing team with our client in media & entertainment. In this role, you will focus on creating impactful, customer-centric email copy, driving engagement and conversions through every message. As a creative storyteller with a keen understanding of email marketing, you’ll develop concepts that capture attention and craft compelling copy for a range of email campaigns.
You’ll have experience working in a similar role, ideally at a creative agency, and will be highly skilled in translating client briefs into clear, persuasive, and results-driven email content.
Key Responsibilities:
Create email copy that engages readers, drives open rates, and encourages clicks and conversions
Develop and execute creative concepts that translate into high-performing email marketing campaigns
Understand how modular copy and content matrixes work
Craft clear, concise, and persuasive messaging tailored to target audiences and aligned with the client’s brand tone
Collaborate with designers and marketers to ensure email content integrates seamlessly with design and overall strategy
Work across a spectrum of email types, including promotional, transactional, and lifecycle emails , with a keen eye for personalisation
Regularly analyze email performance and adjust copy based on data-driven insights
Ensure brand consistency across all communications while adapting tone of voice to suit different audiences
Conduct A/B testing to optimize subject lines and email copy for open rates, click-through rates, and conversions
Proofread and ensure the accuracy of all copy, from subject lines to body text
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in email marketing and copywriting
Be proactive in engaging with AI features on marketing platforms and identifying how they can help scale our personalisation efforts
Requirements:
Minimum of 4 years experience in email copywriting
Proven ability to craft attention-grabbing email subject lines, preview text, and compelling calls to action
Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing CLoud, MailChimp, Klaviyo, HubSpot) and understanding of segmentation strategies
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for detail and grammar
Ability to juggle multiple projects at once and deliver under tight deadlines
Experience working within brand guidelines and adhering to voice and style
A team player who can collaborate effectively with design, marketing, and account teams
Strong understanding of email performance metrics and optimization techniques

The pay range for this role is $110,000-$115,000 . Individual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and local cost of labor. Salary is subject to change based on factors such as geographic location and cost of living in location of hire.
