Job Summary
The VP Director of Project Management will have experience working and coordinating with advertising agencies and internal stakeholders. The primary focus of the VP Director of Project Management will be managing client/agency interactions and coordinating with internal and agency stakeholders in the planning and scheduling of deliverables for marketing initiatives. Additionally, they will work with internal teams to plan the execution and completion of marketing deliverables for traditional media. The individual will identify risks and communicate goals to project stakeholders.
Time Allocation for Key Responsibilities
This distribution reflects a focus on relationship management and project execution while also emphasizing the importance of resolving issues and coordinating with various teams.
  • Relationship Management (25%)
    • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with agency members.
    • Act as the primary point of contact between internal teams and other agency partners.
  • Project Execution Management (20%)
    • Lead and manage the execution of marketing projects across all media.
  • Issue Identification and Resolution (15%)
    • Proactively identify challenges in campaign execution and collaborate on solutions.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination (15%)
    • Partner with teams to coordinate planning and execution of projects.
  • Creative Strategy Alignment (10%)
    • Coordinate alignment on creative strategy, timelines, and deliverables between internal teams.
  • Content Management (10%)
    • Work with creative teams to identify content gaps and manage timing and budgets for content creation.
  • Process Improvement and Best Practices (5%)
    • Establish, implement, and document standards and best practices for project management.
  • Team Management and Development (5%)
    • Set priorities and goals for the team, and mentor direct reports to achieve objectives.

Preferred Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 10 years of relevant professional marketing experience
  • Ability to multi-task projects with equal priority, anticipate issues, and provide creative solutions
  • Excellent attention to detail, superior communication, customer service and follow-up skills
  • Demonstrated leadership and project ownership experience
  • Ability to build effective partnerships
  • Strong organizational skills, timely delivery of projects
  • Ability to make prudent decisions under pressure and work against tight deadlines
  • Ability to interact successfully with diverse individuals at all levels
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office Suite
  • CPG categories and audiovisual production experience a plus

Salary Range
$200,000.00 - $240,000.00
A successful applicant’s actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure/certifications, and equity.
