Role Description

This is an on-site volunteer role for a Film Festival Volunteer at Big Apple Film Festival. As a volunteer, you will be responsible for assisting with various tasks related to the festival's operations and events. This includes helping with ticket sales, ushering and guiding attendees, providing information and support to guests, assisting with setup and breakdown of venues, videography/photography and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for all participants. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a renowned film festival in the vibrant city of New York.


Qualifications

  • Video Production and Film Production skills
  • Experience or interest in narrative films and documentaries
  • Strong communication skills
  • Videography/Photography skills
  • Ability to work well in a team and deliver excellent customer service
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Passion for independent films and the film industry
  • Knowledge of film history and current trends


Relevant skills and qualifications that would be beneficial include experience in event management, hospitality, customer service, and familiarity with New York City and its cultural landscape.
