  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business, or Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
  • 4+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience
We are looking for a Finance Manager to play a critical role in Prime Video, as a finance partner for the Prime Video and Amazon Studios Marketing team. This is a high-visibility role, with the potential to have a large impact on business strategy and tactics, and a clear path for career growth. The role will support multiple senior marketing business leaders, with broad scope and autonomy. This position requires the ability to work cross-functionally and develop new solutions as the business continues to grow. It will require close business partnership on strategy, operations and budgeting. The right individual will have exceptional finance skills, strong understanding of Finance & Accounting principles, solid analytical skills, firm business judgment capable of driving an organization to the right results, and an ability to influence and earn trust will senior leaders.

Key job responsibilities
  • Work directly with Studios Marketing leadership to deliver cost-effective marketing campaigns that resonate with customers
  • Drive cost-out initiatives as well as facilitate execution of big, innovative ideas
  • Own ongoing strategic planning and budget forecasting (rolling, quarterly, annual)
  • Supporting the design, implementation and maintenance of systems that lead to increased controllership around marketing spend
About the team
We are a finance team, but we work very closely with our business partners, and have a seat at the table to weigh in on things both strategic and tactical. We provide controllership, analysis and thought leadership, working across all functional marketing areas.

  • 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience
  • MBA, or CPA
  • Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results
  • Experience communicating results to senior leadership

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
