Job Description
Square Enix is looking for a hands-on eCommerce Manager to own the site experience and growth marketing for our eStore. This position is responsible for day-to-day management across site merchandising, content development, and product launches. Additionally, the role will accelerate eStore sales and engagement by owning the strategy and management of our customer loyalty program, alongside digital marketing campaigns.
Responsibilities
Customer Acquisition:
- Lead eStore digital marketing campaign strategy and management across loyalty and paid channels.
- Measure and report on digital campaign performance and loyalty program, providing strategic and actionable insights to drive growth.
- Lead loyalty program, developing and refining program structure, reward offers, email campaigns and automated flows, and on-site personalization.
- Oversee paid media ad development, testing, and analysis for performance optimization.
- Work with the creative team to request assets and copy for digital channels and loyalty communications.
- Continuously look for ways to optimize customer acquisition across digital channels and loyalty.
Website Operations:
- Partner with other Marketing and Merchandising teams to implement compelling storytelling and product curation that drives consumer engagement, conversion, and revenue growth.
- Support Go-to-Market activations, including homepage refreshes, category and landing page creation, and product and GWP publication.
- Ensure on-site content follows SEO best practices to amplify customer acquisition efforts.
- Assist with site merchandising, including execution of promotions, banner updates, on-page merchandising, navigation, internal search, landing pages, and other content as needed.
- Support team with inventory management tasks and other related projects.
Conversion Rate Optimization:
- Proactively monitor site experience, optimizing products to ensure discoverability and increase conversion rate.
- Use data to apply insights on customer journey and inform site updates.
- Continuously look for ways to optimize conversion on our DTC site.
Reporting and Analytics:
- Analyze, synthesize and report on data from all digital platforms.
- Assist with A/B testing via the eStore and outside platforms.
Cross-functional Team Projects:
- Collaborate with Merchandising, Marketing, Creative, Sales, and Product teams for all on-site activity, ensuring we are executing against the marketing calendar and other business needs.
Requirements
- 5 - 7 years of ecommerce experience, with 2 - 4 years of experience in growth marketing.
- Experience working with enterprise eStore platforms such as Big Commerce, Magento, Amazon Webstores, Shopify etc.
- Must have a solid background with managing eCommerce platforms in all areas of operations.
- Must have strong experience with loyalty and email marketing campaigns including consumer segmentation, data analysis and development of retention programs.
- Strong analytical acumen for report tracking and analysis using enterprise tools such as Google Analytics.
- Knowledge of the videogame and entertainment industry preferred, but not required.
- Ability to influence through thought leadership and cross-functional collaboration.

Annual Salary Range: $95,000 - $115,000
