Summary/objective:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Digital Media Specialist to join our team. This position will primarily focus on publishing digital video assets to Angel Studios Streaming platform, assisting in the Quality Control (QC) process of assets, and managing the archival of digital assets. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in digital media, with a strong understanding of video production workflows and digital asset management.

Essential functions

  • Publish digital video assets to Angel Studios Streaming platform in accordance with established timelines and specifications
  • Assist in Quality Control (QC) process of video assets to ensure they meet technical and content standards
  • Manage the archival and organization of digital assets, ensuring they are easily accessible and properly stored.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including content creators, editors and producers to support the seamless delivery of video content.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of digital media trends, technologies, and best practices to optimize workflows and efficiencies.
  • Must attend and contribute to regularly scheduled staff meetings.
  • Proficiency in speaking, reading and writing in the English language required. Additional language proficiency is a plus.

Competencies

  • Familiarity with video codecs, transcoding processes, and video file formats.
  • Knowledge of basic video/audio troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with video editing software (e.g., DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro) and digital asset management systems.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a positive attitude.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.

Required education and experience

  • 2-3 years of experience in digital media, video production or a similar role.

Preferred education and experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience in digital media, video production or a similar role.
Commensurate with experience and scope of responsibility.
