Consumer Insight, Measurement & Analytics (CIMA) is a part of Disney Experiences (DX), and center of excellence leading strategy development and decision making through actionable data analytics, integration, and insights.  Within CIMA, the Digital and Travel Operations Analytics (DTOA) team is focused on leveraging best practices in analytics to capture data, analyze, and optimize our digital and contact center channels, to drive Guest satisfaction and business outcomes.

The Sr. Manager, Digital Analytics must be an innovative problem solver with a passion to developing and growing a team.  The successful candidate must be able to inspire others and have a desire for continuous learning in the dynamic space of Digital Analytics. 

This position will support the Disneyland Resort business, lead multiple direct reports and report to the Director, Digital and Travel Operations Analytics. What You’ll Do:
•    Lead a team of analytical people partnering closely with multiple business groups
•    Interpret and report on Digital performance as part of a holistic business story, inclusive of observations, key insights, and recommendations
•    Understand business objectives and lead deep dive analyses of user behavior across the digital ecosystem
•    Support business units, product owners and other partners through regular reporting as well as ad-hoc analyses
•    Lead creation of digital tracking strategies and coordinate with developers on technical delivery of digital tracking solutions
•    Act as subject matter expert of Adobe Analytics implementation strategy and best practices
•    Proactively drive innovation in the digital analytics space
•    Recommend optimization tactics based on analytical findings 
•    Mentor direct reports and guide them through career development
•    Manage prioritization for direct reports and effectively adjust to changing business priorities
•    Leverage a combination of digital analytics and database tools to explore and analyze data
•    Develop relationships with partner analytics teams to enable holistic storytelling
•    Create compelling presentations to highlight analysis and tell the story

Required Qualifications & Skills:
•    5+ years of analytical experience 
•    4+ years of digital analytics tool use such as Adobe or Google Analytics
•    2+ Years of leading a team
•    Experience defining mobile application or website analytics tracking requirements
•    Independent time management and prioritization skills
•    Ability to derive actionable insights from data and effectively guide decision-making
•    Strong understanding of segmentation as it relates to digital analytics core principles
•    Ability to excel as a team player in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills including presenting to leadership up to the senior executive level
•    Expert knowledge of common digital analytics KPIs
•    Proactive problem-solving and critical thinking skills
•    Ability to own analytical projects

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

The hiring range for this position in California is $160,500-$200,000 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
