Position Requirements:

Demonstrated interest in programming, event planning, and communications and skills consistent with the Dimensions and Accountabilities below – one year minimum experience in communication, public relations, talent/management agency, or event production company required. Excellent written and oral communication skills as well as a knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of software products, especially PowerPoint. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills. Keen interest in, and opinions on current affairs, public policy, and media. Travel to and participation in entertainment industry events (film festivals, award ceremonies, etc.). Digital/social media fluency and experience conducting research using digital tools. Four-year college degree in a related field required.


Position Dimensions:

Responsible for using all the resources of the organization to assist in achieving its programming and event goals, as well as assisting and providing support for the Program Manager and CEO in the performance of their duties, while maintaining compliance with organizational policies and procedures. On occasion, special event hours may extend into the evenings and weekends to accommodate membership and organizational requirements. Scheduling flexibility is a must.


Position Accountabilities:

•       Organize and maintain database of contact information

•       Assist with travel budgets and presentation decks for events and programs

•       Assist with the creation of engagement plans for programs and events

•       Participate in brainstorming and pitch sessions for new programs and activations

•       Manage administrative tasks relating to events and program implementation

•       Maintain accurate accounting of event expenses when required

•       Research of and outreach to celebrities

•       Book air travel, hotel, and car service for TCC Staff and Celebrities

•       Assist in escorting celebrities at red carpet events

•       Assist with fundraising and membership programs

•       Maintains quality relationships with all corporate partners/sponsors and policy leaders/liaisons

•       Comply with all organizational policies, procedures and expected standards of performance

•       Report to the Program Manager

•       Support effective member relations.

•       Act in a manner conducive to a positive and healthy work environment

•       Perform all other duties as assigned by the Program Manager, Board, President and/or CEO
