Coordinator, Brand MACRO


MACRO is the award-winning, integrated media company that finances, produces and represents the story and perspectives of Black People and People of Color for global audiences. We are seeking a Brand Coordinator to the Brand MACRO team to support our mission and service our internal and external partners. The Brand Coordinator reports directly to the VP of Creative Strategy. 

The employee will be primarily responsible for managing day-to-day relationships and comms with clients/teams and own project management for Brand MACRO to ensure that projects and deliverables are completed and tracked efficiently and effectively.


Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and execution of topical promotion and cross-platform marketing campaigns for the company

  • Provide project management on projects including events, website design, collateral, marketing campaigns, email marketing, content development as delegated by the CBO

  • Own market research coordination, data & competitor analysis

  • Monitor multi-platform audience trends with a suite of measurement tools

  • Maintain an up-to-date library of creative assets; collaborate with internal Creative, Production and Media teams on asset creation, and coordinate and distribute assets as needed to internal and external partners

  • Assist in creating messaging and content necessary to successfully execute Brand initiatives (as needed)

  • Work with partner departments to ensure quality in communication of company and vertical brands

  • Be a voracious consumer of company content; actively identify content to leverage for promotional use

  • Maintain an understanding of marketing priorities and deliverables, including the status of active projects

  • Strategize innovative, non-traditional ways to fuel multi-platform audience growth and brand affinity; focus on gaining and retaining MACRO audiences

  • Assist with organizing department activities, meetings, and presentations

  • Monitor/track budgets & follow up to maximize brand profit / revenue

  • Ad hoc tasks as assigned by the senior leadership 


Requirements:

  • 2+ years of relevant agency or client-side experience

  • Positive attitude, scrappy, creative, organized, energetic!

  • Roll up your sleeves attitude

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills with the ability to prioritize and handle

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge and proficiency of Brand, marketing, partnerships, merchandizing or equivalent

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Pay Transparency:

The salary range for this position is $65,000 - $75,000 per year. This range reflects the minimum and maximum base pay for this role in California. Compensation may vary based on factors such as skills, experience, and location.
