JOB DESCRIPTION

FOX is seeking a Freelance Commercial Administrator! The Freelance Commercial Administrator will edit and prepare daily FAST channel programming (Tubi Originals, TMZ, Gordon Ramsay, Masked Singer, and Cosmos) and TMZ Syndication commercial logs. Interface with multiple departments as needed to complete logs and resolve discrepancies. The Freelance Commercial Administrator will distribute Entertainment FAST channel logs to Broadcast Operations for utilization on Digital platforms and TMZ Syndication logs to Affiliates. Serve as back-up to On-Air Coordinator.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Edit and prepare daily multiple FAST channel programming (Tubi Originals, Gordon Ramsay, Masked Singer, and Cosmos) and TMZ Syndication commercial logs for air within designated time frames
  • Adjust log formats as necessary to ensure correct log timing
  • Create program specific formats based on information received from the Programming and Engineering department
  • Send FAST channel logs to Broadcast Operations via Digital Log, and TMZ Syndication logs to Affiliates via FACS and Fox First Run
  • Verify new programming flowing into Digital Log (traffic system) against scheduling information for accuracy
  • Interface with CBS Ad Sales, TMZ Production, Foxipedia, Digital Log Support, Broadcast Operations and Tubi as necessary to verify billboard, commercials, and other added value placements, complete logs and resolve any timing issues, missing or incorrect commercials, ratings, and other post-production discrepancies that may arise
  • Process new movies and episodes for the Tubi Originals FAST channel in conjunction with the Fox Media Cloud & Broadcast Operations teams
  • Assist Management in the development of workflow documents for TMZ Syndication & FAST channels, including Tubi Originals, Gordon Ramsay, Cosmos, and Masked Singer
  • Serve as back-up to the On-Air Coordinator. This entails watching and fixing errors in the FBC Primetime feed to ensure all shows, commercials, and promos air correctly
  • Other coverage responsibilities including managing the transition between Sports and Entertainment, and Assistant Directing live shows such as Fox News Sunday. This often includes weekend work

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • 4-year college degree
  • Knowledge of the Television industry metadata and digital workflow
  • Prior Commercial Administration/Agency/Traffic experience
  • Prior computer experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to communicate precise information clearly and accurately
  • Able to make judgments within parameters as trained
  • Able to balance multiple requirements and know when to bring an issue to Management’s attention
  • Able to spot discrepancies and problem-solve using reports and other tools as trained
  • Ability to work within deadlines and under pressure
  • Ability to multi-task and manage large volume of work
  • Maintain professional demeanor even while under pressure
  • Well organized and able to prioritize and manage time well

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $27.00-27.00 per hour. We provide Freelancers medical/dental/vision insurance and 401k after they meet eligibility criteria and any State required time-off, in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
