Description
The Churn Optimization Specialist, Apple TV+, is responsible for identifying key churn optimization goals, and working with cross-functional partners to execute on initiatives to achieve them. They will lead thoughtful discussions on churn dynamics, identify leading indicators, and drive customer-centric decision-making. They’re a strategic thinker and exceptional communicator who excels in articulating a strong point of view clearly and succinctly.

Description
The Churn Optimization Specialist, Apple TV+, is responsible for identifying key churn optimization goals, and working with cross-functional partners to execute on initiatives to achieve them. They will lead thoughtful discussions on churn dynamics, identify leading indicators, and drive customer-centric decision-making. They’re a strategic thinker and exceptional communicator who excels in articulating a strong point of view clearly and succinctly.
Minimum Qualifications
- B.A./B.S or M.S. or advanced degree in Marketing, Business, or Project Management
- Minimum 7 to 9 years of relevant industry work experience with a strong understanding of video streaming and/or subscription businesses - especially user engagement, conversion and retention.
Preferred Qualifications
- Deep understanding of customer motivations and behaviors that influence churn.
- Experience working in matrixed environments where products or platforms cut across multiple teams and functions.
- Ability to incorporate LTV insights into churn prediction models for a more holistic understanding of customer value.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to quickly translate data into actionable insights
- Ability to build cross-functional relationships and plans to improve performance against meaningful metrics, with a focus on experimentation and optimization.
- Develop a process of continuous improvement, where the results of this work are analyzed and insights are fed back into the plans and the partners.
- A growth mindset and a high attention to detail understanding how every product element connects to broader team and company goals.
- Drive churn analysis strategies that are scalable and adaptable to accommodate business growth, as well as monitor and analyze competitor activities and their impact on customer churn.
- Self-starter who works effectively in a fast-paced environment; is comfortable managing ambiguity while delivering results with minimal guidance

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $137,100 and $255,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
