The Apple Media Services Legal group supports Apple TV+ and Apple TV app, Apple Music, Apple Fitness+, Shazam, Apple Sports, iTunes, and other entertainment services worldwide. We are seeking an exceptional attorney to add to our team.
Description
In this role you’ll help Apple Media Services teams build and grow global, industry-leading entertainment products and businesses while responsibly managing legal and regulatory risk. Among other tasks, you may find yourself reviewing new product plans and technologies for potential issues with regulatory and contractual requirements, working with designers to develop Apple TV’s subscription flows, advising business teams on how an upcoming law would affect Apple’s content services, scrutinizing proposals for AI/ML training and implementation, updating user license agreements to address new features or regulatory developments, collaborating with our accessibility team to review implementations of our services on new types of hardware, commenting on drafts of proposed legislation, or responding to inquiries from regulators. The perfect candidate for the job will be someone with a broad (and ever-expanding) skill set who takes pride using it to help make successful media products and services in a highly cross-functional environment.

Minimum Qualifications
- 4+ years relevant legal experience in digital entertainment and consumer internet businesses.
- Broad experience with intellectual property, consumer, marketing, digital media, entertainment, software, e-commerce, transactional, regulatory, and privacy law.
- JD or equivalent and admission to at least one US state bar.

- Phenomenal attitude, drive to get things done, and desire to understand new things.
- Ability to make difficult decisions, break down complex issues, balance risk with business need, and ask tough questions.
- Outstanding written communication skills.
- Aptitude for working with many different stakeholders, including business and product people, engineers, creatives, marketers, tax experts, government affairs, and international counsel.
- Passion for the entertainment industry, technology, and law.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $193,000 and $290,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
