Position Summary
The Director of Corporate Partnerships is responsible for driving and the management of new business development. This role will work closely with the CRO to build sponsorship strategy, cultivate relationships to generate a pipeline of new business opportunities, as well as serve as the primary seller for all marquee assets such as kit inventory. This position will also oversee a team of New Business Account Executives and Activation Coordinators. The position reports to the CRO.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Prospect, develop and sell new business partnerships including all marquee club assets to achieve annual revenue goals
  • Conduct cold calls as a way of prospecting and setting appoints for new business
  • Assist in developing and executing strategy for the department alongside the CRO
  • Collaborate with all internal departments including: marketing, social, community, ticket sales and operations, and all other relevant departments to maximize partnership opportunities
  • Develop relationships with agencies that represent major brands within the market or relevant national brands
  • Manage and develop a team of New Business Account Executives
  • Oversee Activation Coordinator to ensure all aspects of a contracted partnership are met
  • Identify and create partnership assets for the club
  • Develop innovative platforms and programs to drive incremental revenue
  • Be knowledgeable of all industry best practices and anticipate new trends
  • Manage individual and team pipeline via CRM system
  • Build and create proposal decks
  • Attending networking events to develop and maintain relationships with current and prospective partners
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in partnership sales
  • Proven track record of generating revenue at a high level and meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Proactive in approach to day to day
  • Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and CRM systems

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in the soccer, sports, and/or entertainment industry
  • Prior experience with the DIGIDECK platform
