We are looking for a Staff Accountant! The Staff Accountant assists the Corporate Accounting & Reporting team to produce monthly and quarterly financial statements in a timely manner. This role will also be assigned bank or other balance sheet accounts to reconcile on a monthly or quarterly basis. Special projects may be assigned from time to time.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare monthly journal entries and related analysis for assigned financial accounts
• Reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts on a quarterly basis (some monthly) basis
• Assist in providing information as requested during our annual audit.

JOB REQUIRMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED

• Bachelor of Art/Science Degree (4-year) in Accounting or Business with a concentration in Accounting
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience working in Accounting and/or Auditing
• Intermediate to advanced level Excel skills including but not limited to VLOOKUP, PIVOT tables
• Solid Understanding of GAAP as well as the general ledger and accrual process
• Ability to train and work remotely
• Strong organization skills with great attention to detail
• Experience using Oracle Fusion Accounting System is helpful
• Experience in accounting for Fixed Assets
CPA License

Annual bonus and merit reviews

The hourly rate for this position is $32 to $36 and will be commensurate with experience related to the position.
