Your New Role

As a Lead of Original Production Planning, you will be joining the team responsible for developing and implementing the Original Content Plan, including the coordination between Development, Production, PMD, Finance and all areas linked to Latin American original production to achieve defined business goals for our platforms and lineal networks. This position will also support the Original Production Planning Director in the design of efficiency processes and the coordination and execution of key Content Strategies, always seeking optimization and making both the group's processes and investments more efficient.

Your Role Accountabilities

  • Help develop and implement the Original Content Production Plan, monitoring the planned and approved projects, with the key dates of the process from the beginning of the development to the delivery, including such tasks as:
    • Evaluating lead time of original productions
    • Identifying risks to the implementation of the designed plan and proposing mitigation actions
    • Building a solid pipeline of original production that meets the objectives to be achieved in each segment and territory.
    • Support Development, Production, Content and other GE teams in understanding the Production Plan and giving visibility of the most important milestones of the implementation schedules.
  • Help Coordinate the green-light process by assembling the deliverables necessary to submit to the Programming Investment Committee
  • Prepare the estimates, working closely with other areas to ensure that the forecasts of the Production Plan budget and cashflow are accurate and reflect the strategic direction of the company.  Analyse financial data, monitor variances, and recommend actions to senior management. This involves working with other areas to understand operational performance and its impact on financial results. This can involve analysing Production cost structures, recommending changes to processes.
  •  Provide support for senior management, including strategy reviews, board presentations, and other leadership meetings or ad-hoc projects as required.

Qualifications & Experiences

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3-5 years of work experience, including 1-3 years in Consulting, Investment Banking, and/or Corporate Strategy -- particularly in the media and entertainment and / or direct-to-consumer space 
  • Experience in building executive-level materials, with a keen eye for presentation design, and the ability to distill complex concepts and analyses into clear, easy-to-understand presentations.
  • Flexible to manage many simultaneous projects with changing deadlines, involving cross-functional projects and multicultural teams.
  • Exceptional organizational and analytical skills, planning and financial modeling capabilities with a deep attention to detail.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite

Desirable

  • Bachelor’s Degree with MBA
