Position Summary:

Provide production management support for the Next Gen Telecast (NGT) team with a focus on Programming needs. This includes budget creation, analysis and management as well as working directly with the Legal department on contracting of new and existing vendors. The role will require frequent communication streams across internal groups as well as external partners/clients with a goal of finding efficiencies in all areas.


Major Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the execution and budget creation/tracking/analysis of multiple initiatives. This will include the opening and closing of projects, processing invoices, managing resources, and creating project tracking documents.
  • Implement processes to properly support the Operational and Technical teams. Liaise directly with team leads to develop a system that provides information and streamlines communication.
  • Establish and execute a cross-departmental system to consolidate information and messaging.
  • Create a workflow cadence with Finance, and the group’s primary analyst, to stay aligned on monthly, quarterly, and yearly goals.
  • Work closely with internal department leads on the tracking of their staff and sub-budgets that will roll up to NGT.
  • Engage with key stakeholders and Legal to ensure that agreements, contracts, and releases are fully executed.


Required Skills/Knowledge:

  • Advanced knowledge of Finance, budgeting and estimate creation
  • Understanding of Live Sports Television including Local and Studio Programming
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Knowledge of the NBA, its teams and its affiliate leagues
  • Detail-oriented and an ability to multi-task in a fast-moving environment


Experience Needed:

  • 6-8 years of relevant experience


Educational Background Required:

  • Bachelors degree required


Salary Range:
[[$90,000 - $105,000]]
