Position Purpose:

Provide senior level day-to-day management of projects – overseeing all elements from timelines, meetings, staffing, creative, onsite logistics, show management and guest experience. Act as both a team player, collaborating for maximum success, as well as a role model for junior staff. Apply a keen eye and intuitive nature to each project’s individual development. Contribute to internal business strategies, identifying new clients, talents, and systems to position Production Glue as an industry leader.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Keep up to date on current events, industry trends, technology and resources
  • Contribute to the RFP process as-needed, which may include leading RFP responses (research, creative development, pitch deck, and in-person client pitches)
  • Research, venue scout, and participate in brainstorming sessions & client outreach as required
  • Ask questions, seek feedback, and action changes
  • Take initiative, act responsively, and demonstrate a sense of urgency
  • Bring your ideas, provide plus/delta feedback and actively participate in all quarterly Check-In meetings
  • Be collaborative, engaged, curious, and solution-oriented
  • Accomplish Scorecard deliverables within the agreed- up milestones
  • Liaise between client, internal teams, and event partners to ensure projects are completed on time & on budget
  • Effectively communicate a client’s vision & collaborate internally to develop creative concepts & implement clear plans of action to meet brand objectives
  • Own budgets & timelines, offering suggestions for efficiencies & feasibility
  • Oversee the development of communication strategy, ground plans & layouts, creative concepts, show documents, onsite security & logistics, transportation, catering, etc.
  • Work with project staffing team to outline staffing needs and fill roles as projected withing the budget
  • Grow event capabilities with existing clients and bring new client opportunities to the company
  • Manage expectations (Client, Venue, and Internal), provide feedback, and anticipate challenges before they arise
  • Exemplifies Leadership, earning the trust and respect of clients and staff alike
  • Maintain focus for both client and internal projects
  • Utilize outstanding organizational skills & time management skills to efficiently manage multiple projects and project team simultaneously
  • Proficiency in supervising and management, both in projects and as a role model to staff
  • Strive for continuous improvement by placing an emphasis on both receiving and giving feedback
  • Effectively plan and execute projects, with a focus on medium to large scale events
    • Act as client lead and ultimate Production Glue decision maker for said projects
    • Focusing on the big picture, while empowering and supervising the project team to focus on details
    • Successfully budget and reconcile projects while leveraging internal and external resources while upholding expected margins
    • Employ both creative and analytical thinking to successfully shape a client’s vision
    • Facilitate effective communications throughout a project, including both verbal and written
    • Actively anticipate challenges & provide sound solutions

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in live events / entertainment / theatre / production (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
  • Experience preparing budgets, managing, and maintaining their profit margins
  • Proficient in Keynote & Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Familiarity with, or willingness to learn communications and project management tools, such as Slack, Box, Airtable, Concur and Google Docs
  • Knowledge of venues a plus
  • Flexibility to work non-traditional hours (nights & weekends) as required

Salary Range: $115k-$135k
