Salary/Hourly Rate:

$100 - $114 per hour

Onsite/Remote:

This is an onsite role in West Hollywood, CA; candidates must sit in the LA area and be able to report onsite to the LA office.

As part of a Senior creative team, you’ll conceive and execute campaigns, produce creative assets, and develop ideas for how our brands value propositions and positioning comes to life. You will partner across the company with brand strategists, product and technology professionals, producers, customer engagement specialists and more to develop a deep understanding of our brands.
 
Responsibilities of the Art Director: 

• Create and develop an innovative advertising campaign that builds off an existing platform and fits within an existing brand campaign’s tone of voice
• Collaborate with a copywriter to produce high-quality look and feel and design that aligns with the overall concept
• Coordinate with CDs to ensure all creative materials are in line with the brand’s vision
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas
• Design layouts, animations, storyboards, concepts
• Present designs to stakeholders and internal teams
• Revise artwork based on feedback from clients or senior art directors
• Work with producers, and other internal partners and outside vendors if needed to bring ideas to life
• Ensure projects are completed within deadlines

Qualifications of the Art Director: 

• A strong portfolio of art direction, design, and or other graphics is required
• Familiarity with design software and technologies such as; InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma, and After Effects
• A keen eye for aesthetics and details
• Deep craft experience in your creative field with a highly developed ability to develop strategic thinking and write creative concepts that result in compelling campaigns and creative work
• Production experience and ability to handle different types of productions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines

This job posting is for a temporary role as an employee of Atrium on assignment at Expedia. The individual selected for this role will be offered the role as an employee of Atrium; compensation, medical benefits, fringe benefits and other terms and conditions of employment shall be presented by Atrium upon offer. The pay rate range provided is a reasonable estimate of the anticipated compensation range for this job at the time of posting. The actual pay rate will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, location and/or being pursued and other job-related factors permitted by law. In addition, this role will be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements.
