OPERATIONS ASSOCIATE

Gladiator Productions is a full-service event production company that partners with our clients to produce events, experiences, and activations through design, fabrication, lighting, entertainment, staffing, project management, budget management, & so much more! ROLE SUMMARY
The Operations Associate will directly support the operational elements of the Company. They will be a strong resource and partner to the Gladiator Leadership Team. Additionally, this role will be responsible for liaising with key external partners of the Company. The right person for the job shall be capable of wearing many hats and is an exceptional communicator. Must be solution oriented, agile in problem solving, a competent multi-tasker, and have a great attention to detail. The ability to receive and action feedback in a timely manner is critical to the role.

Los Angeles Headquarters; In-Office Role
TRAVEL
Generally not required; some occassional exceptions
EFFORT
This position requires excellent communication skills to be performed and moderate physical effort. Some unpacking and packing of materials will be required associated with various elements and office support in maintaining Gladiator HQ.
Candidate must be flexible with their schedule and must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. Candidate must have flexible schedule as some weeknights and weekends during key projects may be needed. The Operations Associate must possess agility to handle all last minute requests and be solution oriented.
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
Operations Support:
Develop close understanding of the various roles, functions and operations of Gladiator
Partner with GLT to understand operational needs and efficiencies
Support of both technical and physical operations
Office maintenance, tracking and updates facilitated on an as-need basis
Assure efficient and productive operations for Gladiator
Financial Support:
Direct liaison with Gladiator Accounting Team and GLT
Facilitation of expense reporting for GLT
Assure Production Team is accurately logging and tracking expenses and budgets
General auditing of projects, GL lines and overall P&L
Additional Support:
Liaise with Clients and Vendors regarding any operational needs and financial delinquencies
Provide support with the maintenance and operations of off-site storage units and branch offices
Provide additional on-site, in-office and administrative support as needed
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Experience: 1-2 years Assistant/Project Management experience or related
1-2 years Operational background experience
Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record
Job-Related Skills: Exceptional communication & organizational skills (verbal and written)
Extremely proficient in Apple/Mac, including all standard Apple software
Highly versed in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook)
Highly versed in Quickbooks Online and other internet-based software systems
Education: Bachelor’s degree
Analytics/Interpretive Skills: Ability to be successful in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple
deadline-oriented projects simultaneously
Strong time management skills; proactive problem-solving skills
Communication Skills: Active listener, ability to accept feedback.
Strong internal and external customer service. Exceptional organization skills.
Professional attitude and ability to be flexible and handle change in a positive
and constructive manner.
