Description
Our client, a non-profit organization, is looking for a full-time Marketing Director to join their team! This is a full-time staff role, and will be hybrid (3 days onsite in NYC, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday).
The Marketing Director will:
champion audience growth / engagement, and measure success through KPI's including views, plays, streams, and subscribers
enhance membership sign-ups, and newsletter subscriptions
seek out / establish partnerships that broaden their content distribution and audience reach
oversee / optimize Google AdWords and other paid advertising campaigns across social media
use data / analytics to inform overall strategy, and provide training / guidance to other team members on audience engagement, platform management, and analytics tools
prepare reports on audience growth, and engagement trends
The Marketing Director has:
ideally 7+ years of experience in marketing with a background in-house from a non-profit, journalistic / news company, political organization, or other relevant vertical
an interest / focus on politics and / or public discourse
fluency in Google AdWords, and ability to evaluate + improve KPI's
strong experience in digital media trends, and emerging platforms
