The Associate will provide support in managing a category of products and a portfolio of licensees to meet or exceed predetermined revenue targets and growth objectives. In this role, you will support the Softlines business with daily responsibilities, providing data analysis, generating new business ideas, and partner relationships.

This is a Full-Time role.

You will report to the Manager, Licensing, Softlines

What You Will Do

  • Communicate daily with licensees, responding to inquiries, researching matters, and following up on requests.

  • Maintain information and images of retail placed SKUs on product placement grids.

  • Archive licensee buy boards, weekly POS reports, and contracts.

  • Analyze, compile, and send out softlines weekly selling highlights.

  • Gather and maintain updated information for various documents such as licensee contact lists, vendor matrices, and retail lists.

  • Request, coordinate, and submit licensee products to brand commercialization, PR, and marketing teams for social media platforms.

  • Coordinate and maintain product samples in designated storage and fulfill requests as needed.

  • Assists with the contract and amendment process, annual budget planning, and quarterly revenue forecasting as needed.

  • Identify white space, conduct research, and present analysis from trends, and retail.

  • Coordinate team calls with internal and external partners.

  • Provide support to management in all systems as needed. Support the project management of new initiatives and projects as they come.

  • Contract ambassador for at least one licensee contract.

  • Build strong team-oriented partnerships with other Disney Consumer Products key business units.

  • Ensure licensee product lines reflect Disney quality and brand/property objectives.

  • Leverage social media and traditional marketing media tools to provide insights and trends.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • High level of curiosity about apparel and accessories, as well as a keen sense of fashion/trends/social media

  • Excellent follow-up, organizational skills, and ability to balance multiple tasks and assignments

  • Ability to provide close attention to detail

  • Self-starter, motivated, proactive, responsible, flexible, analytical

  • Adaptable to change and taking direction from others in a team setting with positivity

  • Knowledgeable with office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Keynote)

Education

  • Bachelor's degree + 1 year related experience

The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $63,400 to $85,000 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
