The Associate in Hardlines Toys will provide support in managing a category of products and a portfolio of licensees to meet or exceed predetermined revenue targets and growth objectives.
This is a Full-Time role.
You will report to the Manager, Licensing Hardlines
What You Will Do
Finance and Business Planning:
Manage correspondence, timelines, and collection of forecast information, and build forecast summaries for analysis by the team
Brand and Content Management:
In conjunction with / support of the Franchise team, ensure timely approvals of the licensee’s marketing elements in the Online Product Approval (OPA) system
Provide any licensee /product information in support of marketing and brand presentations and sales meetings
Category Management:
Provide support on the core toys business and any upcoming core toy launches
Research and respond to licensee requests
Provide support in the contract and amendment process
Help identify business opportunities, provide research and analysis on industries, markets, trends, and licensee-specific initiatives
Presentations:
Develop Keynote decks for both internal and external presentations
Translate analysis into presentation-ready formats
Product Development:
Coordinate line reviews with licensees and the Product Development team
With the Product Development team approve and maintain line lists
Liaise with Product Development to ensure timely approval of products
Prepare product presentations including but not limited to internal line reviews
Ensure licensee product lines reflect Disney quality and brand/property objectives
Retail, Sales, and Marketing:
Provide all needed product and licensee information to the sales and marketing teams to support retail road shows and presentations
Required Qualifications & Skills
2 years of related experience
Capable of working independently and leading a wide range of initiatives/opportunities simultaneously
Ability to provide close attention to detail
Self-starter, motivated and proactive
Professional written and verbal communication skills
Professional presentation skills
Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Keynote)
Education
Bachelor's degree

The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $63,400 to $85,000 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
