We are looking for a dynamic Director of Growth and Performance Marketing. In this role, you will report to the GM of playSWEEPS and be responsible for leading an effective marketing team and plan to propel our new business’s growth and performance. You will work cross-functionally to understand our growth needs, act as a company brand ambassador to external partners, and drive revenue and user growth through successful marketing campaigns, including driving cross-promotion from our existing games.

The ideal candidate will possess keen business acumen, outstanding creativity, strong interpersonal skills, a data-driven mindset, and a passion for scaling operations efficiently. In addition, we look for resourceful leaders who can confidently craft multi-faceted growth plans through build, buy, partner strategies.

Duties and Responsibilities

As the Director of Growth and Performance Marketing for playSWEEPS, you will be responsible for:

1. Marketing and User Acquisition

  • Manage the entire user acquisition funnel, from integrating new traffic sources and managing campaigns to collaborating with the creative team to develop top-tier advertising creatives.
  • Devise multi-prong growth strategies that include cross-promotion, affiliate marketing, paid UA, social and influencer marketing, SEO, SEM, ASO, etc.
  • Cultivate and maintain strategic partnerships with key acquisition and affiliate partners to align their efforts with our goals. Hold these partners accountable for their results.
  • Recommend build, buy, partner strategies as needed to differentiate and grow.
  • Experiment with new creative styles and concepts through rigorous measuring and testing.
  • Design and implement A/B tests to optimize revenue potential.
  • Work closely with data scientists and analysts to perform in-depth performance analysis and optimizations for our most impactful players.
  • Identify and experiment with user acquisition strategies that significantly increase daily active users (DAU) and revenue.
  • Team Leadership, Culture and Team Health
  • Build and lead an effective Marketing and User Acquisition team that consists of cross-promotion, affiliate marketing, paid user acquisition, social and influencer marketing, and organic user growth talent.
  • Embrace the company culture to shape a healthy work environment that enhances employee satisfaction, productivity, and motivation.
  • Suggest improvements for employee engagement as needed.
  • Respond to employee concerns in a timely manner.
  • Advise on the morale and concerns of employees and advocate for their priorities to PLAYSTUDIOS stakeholders and partners.
  • Build relationships with industry entities in the relevant space for potential partnerships, events sponsorships, joint ventures, and other value add activities to drive more visibility for PLAYSTUDIOS.
Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in affiliate marketing strategy and execution.
  • 10+ years of experience in mobile user acquisition and ad buying analysis at scale.
  • 5+ years in leadership positions.
  • 2+ years in growing user base in iGaming or Social Casino Gaming businesses.
  • Proficiency in managing performance campaigns on self-serve advertising platforms.
  • Experience managing Self-Attributing Network (SAN) campaigns.
  • Exceptional analytical abilities and meticulous attention to detail, coupled with strong communication skills to effectively convey findings and action plans.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analytics toolset, with aptitude to further develop technical skills.
  • Strong logical thinking with a knack for identifying and seizing new opportunities to challenge the conventional approach.
  • Skilled in negotiation and capable of persuasively influencing both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work autonomously or collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
  • A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a quantitative discipline.
  • Proficiency in English.
Preferred

  • Experience with launching and driving user growth for Sweepstakes games.
  • Experience with social and influence marketing.
  • Experience with SEO, SEM, and ASO.
  • Familiarity with SQL, Tableau, or Mode Analytics.
  • Experience with AI marketing tools, particularly those that enhance campaign efficiency and personalization.
