Hours: Part-time, with the option to grow into full time.

Compensation: Negotiable & Commission based

Cirque de Vol Productions is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Event Booking & Talent Manger to join our dynamic team. As a Event Booking & Talent Manager, you will be responsible for securing talent for our various shows and events. The ideal candidate should have a passion for the performing arts, strong industry connections, and exceptional negotiation and communication skills.

Event Booking Duties
Key Responsibilities:

  • Event Booking Management: Handle the end-to-end process of event bookings, from initial client inquiries to finalizing event details.
  • Client Communication & Creative Planning: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries promptly and making creative recommendations based on their event specifics and considering their theme, venue and budget.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Manage event and talent schedules, ensuring necessary resources are available for each event.
  • Contract Administration: Oversee contract creation, review, and execution aligned with company policies and client expectations in collaboration with the Office Manager. Ensure all necessary insurance needs are met and event public safety rules adhered to.
  • Collaboration: Work with various teams to develop strategies for promoting events and maximizing booking opportunities.
  • Event Logistics: Coordinate event setup, breakdown, and on-site coordination for a seamless experience.
  • Budget Management: Lead budget planning and tracking for events within financial parameters.
  • Client Relationship Management: Foster strong, long-term client relationships for repeat business and referrals.

Talent Booking Duties
Key Responsibilities:

  • Talent Sourcing: Identify and source talented performers, negotiate contracts, manage bookings, and oversee talent-related logistics.
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate terms with artists and their representatives within budgetary constraints.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with artists, agencies, and industry professionals.
  • Talent Development: Identify emerging talents and support their growth through partnerships.
  • Budget Management: Work with finance to manage talent acquisition within budget.
  • Contract Compliance: Ensure compliance with all contractual obligations and legal requirements.
  • Sales and Customer Acquisition: Promote performance and event bookings, engage potential clients, follow up on leads, and convert leads into customers.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with existing customers, provide exceptional service, and promote additional entertainment offerings.
  • Performance Promotion: Participate in marketing initiatives, events, and outreach activities to raise awareness and gain clients in collaboration with the Professional Performance Marketing Director.
  • Sales Reporting: Track sales metrics, collaborate with management to set sales targets, and provide regular updates on sales activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Event Management, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in event management, strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with event management software/tools and CRM systems.
  • Previous sales experience in entertainment production and booking, or other similar service-oriented industries.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Passion for event entertainment creation and production.
  • Bachelor's degree in Arts Administration, Business Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Talent Booking Agent or similar role in the entertainment industry.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in industry-specific software/tools for talent management.
