ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:
TelevisaUnivision Local Media Los Angeles is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated team player to lead the LA Radio Marketing & Promotions group.
This position requires that you work closely with our three radio station’s content directors, several departments across different media platforms.
ABOUT YOU:
The ideal candidate requires strong knowledge of radio promotions and on-site events.
YOUR DAY-DAY:
  • Work closely with Radio Content Directors:
  • Develop, strategize, create and execute strategies that support ratings goals & initiatives for each of the radio cluster in Los Angeles and their shows
  • Develop sales and promotional opportunities
  • Strategize annual branding plan for each station and create on-air promotional calendar
  • Oversee OOH branding campaigns
  • Collaborate with on-air personalities
  • Manages the Radio Marketing and Promotions team:
  • Manages the team members, their goals, objectives and evaluations
  • Manages radio partnerships and third-party clients & partners
  • Supervise legal agreements and on-air contest rules
  • Manage radio promotional budget for on air giveaways, premiums and campaigns
  • Project Manager for special events
  • Oversees Promotions and giveaways
  • Supervises event recaps
  • Creates social media posts, integration campaigns across different platforms
  • Collaborate with other internal departments:
  • Works with legal department on rules, events, and permits
  • Coordinates with TV Marketing Director on any integrations of radio talent on TV
  • Communicates with Account Executives and Sales Managers the latest events, marketing radio packages and talent announcements
  • Manages and supervises all marketing and promotional assets and works with Activations Team Supervisor
  • Works with Community Empowerment Department for press releases and community events
  • Works with the Financial Services department and prepares expense reports
  • Works with the Creative Services Team for sales-related projects
  • Collaborates with the Digital/Branded Content & Social Media department
  • Collaborates with senior management on various initiatives
YOU HAVE:
  • Bachelor’s degree or five years of equivalent experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills both in English and Spanish
  • Experience working with sales leadership, marketing, promotions, activations, and creative partners
  • Experience working with Promotions
  • Prior experience leading/managing Radio remotes and concerts
  • Knowledge of Los Angeles radio station formats, especially Spanish-language music and artists
  • Experience working with music streaming platforms
  • Ability to successfully work under tight project deadlines
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced sales-driven work environment
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Well versed in the Los Angeles DMA geography
  • Knowledgeable in different Latin musical genres
  • Must be willing to work from office in Los Angeles, CA
  • Employment/education will be verified
  • Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Please note the national salary range listed in the job posting reflects the new hire salary range across levels and U.S. locations that would be applicable to the position.
Salary Range
$84K - $90K+ benefits
