This role is hybrid and based at our Chatsworth studio and will report to the Director of People Partnerships.

What the People Practices Manager does at EA:

You'll connect with employees and coach people managers. You'll support team effectiveness and engagement projects while being a cultural manager for EA. You'll collaborate, manage projects, lead with data, facilitate talent and reward discussions, and communicate change.

  • Program Delivery: Locally delivers core People Experience programs within defined timelines and acts as point of escalation for local managers with questions. Duties may include transactional process required for the delivery of of core programs and/or inputting data into people management platforms;
  • Cultural Steward: Works with managers, employees and COEs to develop overall capability to foster a healthy, cohesive, collaborative, fun, fair and equitable workplace;
  • Coaching: Partners closely with managers to provide candid, unbiased coaching and counsel to enhance manager effectiveness and improve individual and team capabilities to meet current and future business needs;
  • Talent Readiness: Delivers global talent initiatives including talent strategy, talent planning, performance management, in partnership with respective COE partners, HR business partners, and local leaders to attract, retain, and develop key talent. Ensure senior HR Leadership is aware of local/regional needs and work in tandem to deploy needed strategies or resources;
  • Insights & Analytics: Leverages HR technology, business intelligence and local market information, to provide data-driven insights that enable sound business outcomes. Educates management on workforce analysis, headcount planning and related HR metrics to assess and influence and/or drive business decisions;
  • Business Acumen: Proactive in understanding client and market business models/cycles, priorities and cultural nuances as an input into operational strategy and execution; understands both the business internally and also the external landscape.
  • Change Management: Partners with BU leadership, HR business partners and global COE partners to assess change readiness for People initiatives, provides localization input, and collaborates to arrive at solutions that drive adoption.

The next great People Practices Manager at EA also needs to have the following:

  • Bachelor's or equivalent degree in a relevant field combined with a minimum of seven years progressive experience as an HR business partner/generalist;
  • Experience with their craft - substantial experience working with managers as an advisor regarding team performance management, prior employee relations experience, and the ability to quickly integrate into a complex business;
  • Analytical mindset with proven experience using data and data-driven insights to support the business;
  • Demonstrated local knowledge of HR requirements, HR best practices, HR administration, employment laws, and employment customs and the ability to translate that knowledge into scalable solutions;
  • Strong change management skills -Adaptable to evolving situations and new challenges, able to thoughtfully address complex problems, and prioritize efficiently., and execute commitments;
  • Outstanding project leadership and delivery experience; overseeing region-wide, high-impact talent programs across the business;
  • Prior experience working within creative environments and supporting either (or both) creative or engineering teams is a plus.

US COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these states. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location.

Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.



BASE SALARY RANGES

  • California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento):
º $122,400 - $176,300 USD Annually

Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
