TikTok's Publisher Operations team is responsible for delivering high-quality, efficient and effective B2B experiences for our major partners and internal stakeholders. Primarily, this will be delivered through program management and QBR infrastructure for global media businesses.

The Publisher Operations Manager will directly manage and support our most high-profile global content operational projects. Additionally, they will prepare the Partnerships teams (centrally, regionally, locally) for effective XFN collaboration and projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in design and launch of new operational processes, and deliver end-to-end project management for operational processes
  • Co-ordinate internal stakeholders to exceed performance and efficiency goals
  • Work with Content Strategy & Policy teams including content strategists, to evaluate our major partner businesses, competitive insights and performance trends in order to deliver high quality QBR meetings designed to accelerate overall platform investment
  • Build infrastructure to streamline and scale the team processes and provide two-way feedback loops, seamless internal visibility and communication
Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:
  • Experience in or exposure to the audiovisual content industry, including movie studios, TV production, sports, or related industries
  • Familiarity with copyright protection platforms and publishing rights management for audiovisual rightsholders including features, TV, and live sports
  • Understanding audiovisual rightsholder and platform challenges in copyright strategy
  • Extraordinary organizational skills with the ability to work cross functionally with other stakeholder teams as well as senior leadership.
  • The ability to meet deadlines and drive strong execution in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Exemplary interpersonal, analytical and communications skills.
  • Our ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in program or project management.
  • Have a deep understanding and insights of the key metrics and measurements in content and creator operations.
  • Understanding of Publisher business models, including understanding or intellectual curiosity to dive deeper into key issues versus accepting a cursory understanding of the marketplace.
  • Creative approach to internal operation that fully appreciates the unique value TikTok creates for our partners
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Natural collaborator with the ability to drive alignment among various stakeholders throughout the company to reach a common understanding and set of metrics: Marketing, GBS, Product, Data, Algo, Engineering.
  • Experience in product preferred
  • Leadership in understanding key business priorities, including the ability to clearly articulate key issues, recommend solutions, and kick off projects to serve those core business priorities
  • BS required, MS/MA/MBA considered a plus

Job Information
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $104000 - $188000 annually.



Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
