What This Position Is All About:

The VP, Brand Marketing position at Saks OFF 5TH is responsible for developing and executing holistic marketing strategies for our flagship off-price business unit. Working across both brick & mortar and digital channels, this individual will drive our omni-channel marketing program and bring campaigns to life across customer touchpoints. Spearhead strategic creative direction and oversight for all brand initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and brand identity. This individual will solidify our brand partnerships strategy, identifying and bridging partnerships with new endemic and non-endemic partners to expand our reach to new customer audiences. This role also has oversight of Saks OFF 5TH's social media channels and creates and executes all strategies in this area to drive sales. Lastly the VP manages a team responsible for coordinating all store-specific marketing strategies, including local partnerships and landlord activations.

  • Passion for e-commerce, fashion, lifestyle, and partnership marketing

You Also Have:

  • Bachelor's Degree required

  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in marketing (preferably in a retail environment across multiple channels)

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Prior experience in strategic planning, sales forecasting, management consulting, financial analysis or related role

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools: Word, PowerPoint; advanced Excel skills

As The VP, Brand Marketing, you will:

  • Develop a cohesive, multi-channel creative and brand strategy based on customer insights, business trends and company priorities

  • Lead a multidisciplinary creative team in generating innovative concepts and designs across various mediums, including digital, print, video, photography, ensuring adherence to best practices, optimal customer experience and data informed optimizations.

  • Define and execute OFF 5TH social media strategy, inclusive of creative strategy and brand voice across Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok channels; explore emerging social media channels, social selling

  • Lead local marketing initiatives, inclusive of landlord partnerships, tourism strategy and local store events

  • Synthesize consumer facing PR strategy and communications, aligning to marco strategy to increase reach and brand awareness.

  • Responsible for development of partnership strategies/agency relationships to grow brand awareness and reach new customer audiences

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $200,000 and $250,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits), dependent on the position offered.
