Position Summary:
This role will be responsible for the creative solutions and needs at Enmarket Arena and Johnny Mercer Theatre with a focus on graphic design as well as branding and social media content creation and management

This role will pay an hourly rate of $22.00 to $24.00.

About the Venue:
Making a positive disruption to the Southeast, the Enmarket Arena is the newest entertainment destination in the region for music and sports. Enmarket Arena is a state-of-the-art facility developed in partnership with Oak View Group, Live Nation and the City of Savannah, and opened in February 2022, ushering in major touring artists and acts from all over the world. Enmarket Arena also serves as the home to ECHL, Savannah Ghost Pirates.
Responsibilities:
  • Complete multiple creative graphic projects from start to finish.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and content creation strategy meetings.
  • Collaborate with internal team to conceptualize and manage all graphics design projects for the venue and event marketing efforts including video production.
  • Ensure quality and timely creative production and communication with teammates.
  • Coordinate and maintain a scheduling/planning calendar. Oversee the process as well as direct involvement with designing graphics, producing, editing and writing effective copy for social channels.
  • Ideate and create engaging, fresh, and interesting content to grow Enmarket Arena’s social footprint as well as utilizing social media to support and reach sales initiatives. Engaging in conversation across social channels with fans, players, artists, local media, etc. while building followers and engaging influencers through multiple social media channels.
  • Serve as the venue’s social media coordinator monitoring sites on an on-going, daily basis. Will also monitor and engage in real-time social media activities during events, producing content, and liaising with guest services lead to provide excellent customer service to patrons online.
  • Conceptualize and coordinate engaging content on venue TikTok page.
  • Create, brand, proof and maintain various venue communications resources including the arena’s asset and marketing kit, collateral materials, ads, digital advertising, signage and various other pieces and submit for approval.
  • Provide creative ideas, samples, client mock-ups and final designs on assignments.
  • Assist in the design and development of print materials for marketing and event promotions including brochures, flyers, posters, ads, stationery, and calendars as well as design for social and email communications.
  • Conceptualize and implement a consistent brand and voice for Enmarket Arena and Johnny Mercer Theatre.
  • Effectively communicate, support and enhance the mission and vision across a wide range of medias.
  • Work with vendors and other organizations to complete projects and goals.
  • Assist with the planning and execution of effective marketing and sales campaigns specific to various events to maximize attendance and revenue.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required Experience & Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 1 to 3 years of related work experience.
  • Experience in graphic design/arts, digital media/marketing, communication.
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite products for graphic and video design and creation.
  • Must be adaptable with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an expert ability to present and communicate new ideas and concepts.
  • Extremely organized and detail oriented, resourceful, quick learner and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Creative and driven, be able to ideate and execute on unique marketing opportunities.
  • A high degree of personal integrity and consistently put the interests of the organization first.
  • Must be a fierce communicator and cross-organizational collaborator.

Preferred Experience & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree with graphic design major or minor preferred, combination of Associate’s degree or certificate and/or academic credit in graphic design classes and 1 year of relevant work experience acceptable.
  • Experience with large-scale events in a stadium or concert setting of a similar size (9,500 seats) is desirable.


Working Conditions:
  • Minimal Travel (<10% travel): May be required to travel. Trips may require air travel and/or overnight stay away from home for one or more nights.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule inclusive of weekends, nights and holidays required.
Frequent bending, lifting 15-20 pounds, sitting, exposure to multiple external elements, extensive walking through the building including inclines and stairs.
