Rockstar Games is seeking a Communications Coordinator to join our in-house Communications team at our NYC headquarters. This is a unique opportunity to be a part of the global team responsible for developing and executing the strategic communications for a multitude of high-impact releases.
This is an administrative support role with long-term growth potential, focused on bolstering workflows across a variety of strategically essential tasks, including providing media sentiment analysis and reporting, maintaining and advancing media contact databases, and assisting in the development and implementation of media outreach.
The successful candidate will share Rockstar Games' passion for advancing culture and entertainment, possess exceptional attention to detail, and an unwavering commitment to high-quality output no matter the task.
This is a full-time, in-office position based out of Rockstar's NYC headquarters in Downtown Manhattan.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor and analyze press coverage and daily reporting for multiple teams, including leadership.
- Maintain media databases and distribution lists, making appropriate recommendations amidst a changing media landscape.
- Coordinate frequent Live Services outreach to key media partners, including asset requirements.
- Field incoming PR requests and distribute to appropriate parties.
- Conduct insightful competitive research of releases across entertainment.
- Provide general administrative support to the Communications team.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A passion for games, music, film, art, design, and contemporary culture in general is essential.
- 2+ years' experience in a PR or marketing role, or a relevant position.
- Bachelor's degree in media, communications, or relevant field is preferred.

- A thoughtful approach to all facets of work, with a solutions-oriented attitude, and genuine desire to learn at every turn.
- Detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize and meet multiple deadlines while still achieving high-quality output.
- Ability to collaborate with various teams and anticipate the needs of diverse workflows.
