Video Producer/Editor- Full Time

Join one of the busiest teams in South Florida! Plum Productions is searching for our next standout Producer/Editor. You’ll work alongside an energetic team of professionals to deliver client projects across a wide range of industries. Salary commensurate with experience.

Our goal is to find an experienced producer/editor with:

· Proven experience record as a video producer (please submit portfolio link of your work).

· Demonstrate video editing ability with a strong portfolio

· Driven and accountable for their work

· Has a creative mind and is able to boil down scripts to match the client’s requirements.

· Able to work independently on complete project tasks with strong time management skills.

· Excellent communication skills and able to communicate project scope and implementation

· Able to work flexible schedules to meet the needs of the business (typically does not include weekends but may from time to time).

:

· Develop original video concepts, generate storyboards, scripts, and other forms of planning related to video production

· Manipulate and edit film pieces in a way that is invisible to the audience

· Input music, dialogues, graphics, and effects

· Create finished rough and final cuts

· Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running

· Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency.

· Able to have fun while doing the work.

· Client expectation management and execution

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Minimum of 5 Years of Video Production Experience (perhaps owned a production business and wishes to stop selling and start working on what you love).

Able to craft a compelling story while maintaining client branding standards

Have a knack for pairing music with the story

Strong editing skills along with motion graphics work

Able to work as a team or alone

Must work well under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining high quality work

Preferred Skills

Able to multi-task and juggle numerous projects at once

Able to follow directions and communicate effectively

Detail oriented and strives for perfection

Strong creative thinker and proactive in seeking out solutions to challenges

Basic working knowledge of Photoshop, Photoshop Elements, Illustrator, and/or similar

Able to assist with or lead video production shoots

Motion Graphic Design a Plus

Final Cut Pro Competency a Plus

Bilingual a Plus

Additional Notes

Media Management skills are important but can be taught on the job
