Production Artist

VisionUSA is a leading provider of printed drinkware. We are seeking a qualified individual for the position of Product Artist. Attention to detail and accuracy are required. You should be customer service driven. There is limited communication with customers, but primary communication is through email. Must be able to communicate verbally and via email with customers as required, so a positive attitude and professionalism are a must.

The use of industry standard software design tools are used to create production files for screen printing, pad printing and digital print outputs. All logos and designs are customer supplied. Experience with Canon Digital Printing is a plus.

• Speed and accuracy are critical
• Prioritize and manage projects and ensure completion dates are met
• Assist in the creation of sample designs
• Work in a team environment with interaction with customer service and production.

Requirements

• 2 yrs minimum experiece in Adobe products (primarily Illustrator and Photoshop)
• Comprehensive understanding and ability to accurately set up art files for production
• Knowledge and work experience with Digital Printing
• Demonstrate the ability to work on multiple projects
• Digital Printing Experience
• RIP Software Experience

Location:

• Dallas, TX Approximately 3 miles west of downtown Dallas

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• No weekends
• 8 hour shift. CANNOT work from home.

Qualifications:

Must have 2+ years experience in Adobe Suites Package
Good organization and communication skills
VERY DETAIL Oriented and punctual
Knowledge of how to produce films for 4 Color Process
Knowledge of Digital Press Printing

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
