The Refinery is an award-winning entertainment advertising agency based out of Los Angeles, CA. We work with all of the major studios producing social, digital, and print creative campaigns for theatrical, television & streamer clients.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain client template and spec requirement database
  • Manage and maintain thorough QC sheets for projects
  • Flawlessly execute deliverables that meet provided client/printer specs
  • Flawlessly execute large-scale OOH campaigns, both independently and with a team
  • Produce final mechanicals
  • Create final type, finishing, and master art templates for breakouts
  • Develop talent by mentoring and teaching creative and technical skills to junior Production Designers (e.g., Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator techniques)
  • Possess and maintain strong leadership skills to be able to step in for Senior Production Manager when necessary, including QC'ing other production artists' work, scheduling, and interfacing with cross-functional teams
  • Back-up in physical production for printing proofs, assembly of boards, inventory, and courier requests

Requirements

  • Previous experience in entertainment advertising is a must (either agency or client-side). We will not consider applicants new to the industry for this role.
  • A keen eye for detail with impeccable accuracy and innate organizational skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
  • Ability to seamlessly multi-task and adapt to urgent project needs
  • Ability to maintain a positive and professional tone and approach
  • Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
  • Senior-level management skills
  • Ability to problem solve and communicate calmly and clearly in high-pressure situations
  • A proactive teammate who can work independently

Official working hours are 9:30am–6:30pm PST. However, hours can fluctuate depending on client requests and may be staggered based on after-hours needs.

This position is remote, with our agency based out of Los Angeles, CA. Preference for people located in the Los Angeles area, but other locations will be considered.

Salary Range:

$75k - $100k

Rate offered will be dependent on factors such as one's qualifications, years of relevant experience, and skillset.
