What You Will Do
The Sr. Manager, Credits, Titles & Ratings Administration handles all aspects of the MPA rating and credits processes for various banners at The Walt Disney Studios, with a primary focus on supporting 20th Century Studios and Searchlight Pictures theatrical and streaming releases.
MPA Ratings
Handle MPA rating process for theatrical and streaming feature films, including scheduling screenings and completing submission forms
Analyze scripts and review footage as needed to address potential rating concerns
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders throughout the rating process
Communicate final rating information to internal teams and studio leadership
Credits
Manage credits process on assigned productions
Prepare, proof and approve on-screen credits (main titles and end titles)
Prepare paid advertising memos and billings blocks
Review and approve print and audio/visual marketing materials (e.g., one sheets, trailers, TV spots), promotional items, publicity releases, press notes and awards campaign materials for contractual, MPA rating and guild compliance
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders throughout the credits process
Liaise with unions and guilds, fulfilling documentation needed for credits approvals, arbitrations and other legal matters
Additional Duties
Conduct research on ratings and credits matters as needed
Manage or assist with other department projects as needed
Required Qualifications & Skills
Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience
Knowledge of the MPA rating process, applicable legal procedures, terminology, policies and standards
Strong analytical, organization, time-management and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, multi-task and prioritize deadlines and deliverables
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Detail-oriented approach with exceptional proofreading skills
Ability to interact, collaborate and communicate with personnel of various levels throughout the studio, including Creative Executives, Business Affairs Executives, Attorneys, Production and Post-Production personnel, and studio leadership
Must be able to read and interpret legal contracts and guild basic agreements in regard to credits policies, practices and procedures
Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $85,800.00 to $115,000.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
