The Revenue Management and Analytics (RM&A) team is part of the Commercial Strategy team that supports clients across Disney Experiences including Ticketing, Resorts, Merchandise, Food & Beverage, and Special Events in the core competencies of yield management, revenue planning, forecasting, pricing, promotions, strategy development, and optimization. Candidates should have a natural curiosity to understand the “why” behind business performance, take a proactive role in problem-solving, be results oriented, be able to prioritize, and be a team player and influencer in a collaborative environment.


This role reports to the Manager – F&B Yield Optimization.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be a key player in our data analytics and yielding efforts, leveraging analytics to optimize revenue and define our long-term revenue management strategies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze and visualize data, transforming it into actionable insights and recommendations.   • Collaborate within Revenue Management and across the organization (Commercial, Operations, Pricing, Finance, Forecasting, Industrial Engineering, and Technology & Digital) to foster a deep understanding of partners and the business to provide data needs and actionable insights to drive business decisions

  • Manage seating and table inventory at all owned & operated seated restaurants to optimize the number of Guests served

  • Generate regular reporting and ad-hoc analyses of historical and current data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities within Bookable Experiences

  • Create and maintain data visualization dashboards using Tableau or similar tools to deliver insights and enable internal efficiencies

  • Develop and maintain SQL queries and scripts for data analysis and reporting (join tables, group and sort data, and pull relevant information from multiple data sources); continuously monitor data quality and proactively address data-related issues, develop, and optimize data processes and workflows

  • Contribute to the development and optimization of data processes and workflows.

  • Develop and maintain positive, service-orientated relationships with partners and Operations

  • Influence and optimize logistics and project management of revenue management requests from Operations, including managing inventory in the revenue management system and standardizing and streamlining intake processes from Operations to partner teams

  • Liaise between Revenue Management and Data Science Partners to develop data strategy and identify opportunities to use data to drive value for the business

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in data handling and manipulation in a programming language such as SQL.

  • Knowledge of data visualization/business intelligence software, such as Tableau or Power BI

  • Ability to extract, assimilate data, and analyze data from multiple data platforms (i.e., Snowflake, etc.) and reporting on the results using Excel or a statistical software package

  • Demonstrated ability to extract and assimilate data from multiple sources and communicate analysis in a concise and actionable format

  • Strong sense of responsibility, ownership, and pride in delivering quality results and understanding the business impact

  • Relationship and communication skills to effectively build partnerships, including the ability to ask questions to gain understanding and influence others with differing points of view

  • Experience in approaching opportunities with a positive and solution-oriented mindset

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years in a role with data analysis experience

  • Demonstrated data analytics skills with proficiency in associated database applications in one or more of the following: SQL, Tableau

  • Familiarity with revenue management concepts

  • Knowledge of Food & Beverage Operations or data

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field


The hiring range for this position in California is $84,600 to $103,400 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
