Health is seeking an Editorial Projects Manager to join our family of health and editorial enthusiasts. If you are a digitally-savvy teammate who is dialed into what’s happening in the overall health community – then this is the role for you!
As a part of our spirited and collaborative team, you will be responsible for the management, recruitment, and assigning for our Medical Expert Board, board-certified physicians who verify the medical accuracy of our articles.
Hybrid 3x a week- New York
In-office Expectations: This position is hybrid in-office, with the ability to work remotely for up to 2 days per week.
About The Positions Contributions:
Weight % Accountabilities, Actions and Expected Measurable Results
  • 10% - Foster and maintain relationships with existing Medical Expert Board members and act as team point person for these contributors
  • 10% - Recruit, onboard, and train additional Medical Expert Board members
  • 10% - Assign articles for medical review and ensure work is completed in a timely manner, reassigning and addressing questions as needed
  • 10% - Work with other team members, including from the Surveillance Research, Visual Asset Team, Commerce, and Performance Marketing teams, for review needs
  • 10% - Act as liaison between Medical Expert Board and Dotdash Meredith support teams to troubleshoot technical issues
  • 10% - Track monthly invoicing by Medical Expert Board members
  • 10% - Create and manage monthly projects for review work, including assessing articles and specialists
  • 10% - Manage budget for Medical Expert Board work
  • 10% - Work with the Chief Medical Officer to plan and execute regular roundtable events for Medical Expert Board members.
  • 5% - Lead on initiatives to build community amongst Medical Expert Board
  • 5% - Maintain and update Medical Expert Board information and bio pages on site and on internal resource documents
The Role’s Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements:
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Experience:
  • 3 years of editorial assistant and project management experience, including managing databases and multiple projects and priorities
Specific Knowledge, Skills, Certifications and Abilities:
  • Professional demeanor and strong attention to detail and deadlines
  • Experience working directly with healthcare professionals
  • Must be skilled in Google Suite software, especially Sheets
  • Fast learner and ability to develop expertise in workflow management systems
  • Strong ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and professionally
  • Experience with health content (specifically related to disease, conditions, and treatment) and an understanding of specific nuances surrounding sourcing and credibility a plus
% Travel Required (Approximate): 5%

Pay Range
Salary: New York: $62,400.00 - $70,000.00
The pay range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position and may change in the future. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Dotdash Meredith’s total compensation package for employees. Other compensation may include annual bonuses, and short- and long-term incentives.
