The PV Global Brand & Digital Intelligence team is hiring a Senior Global Social Insights & Analytics Manager that will be responsible for generating data and insights to help the business better understand and deliver value to our customers. The Senior Global Social Insights & Analytics Manager will work across a dynamic team of insights professionals focused on understanding and building customers’ relationship with the Prime Video brand and service.

The ideal candidate is a strategic-minded insights professional with a proven track record of delivering highly impactful, data-driven business recommendations in a fast-paced environment. They are deeply passionate about the power of social data to drive business outcomes. They thrive on staying current on the cutting edge of social listening approaches to deeply understand the voice of the customer. Their enthusiasm is contagious, and they inspire their stakeholders to think strategically about how to infuse social insights into business decisions.

Key job responsibilities
  • Own and manage the organization’s global social listening program, ensuring organic social conversation is effectively measured and reported on to drive strategic decision-making
  • Design and refine social media analytics frameworks, KPIs, and dashboards to monitor the impact of earned media efforts globally
  • Coordinate with external vendors to ensure the effective execution of social listening and analytics programs, including managing contracts and evaluating new tools
  • Manage the feature roadmap for social listening, collecting and prioritizing asks and working with the 3rd party vendor to secure new functionality that PV needs
  • Utilize social listening tools to monitor and respond to brand crises and zeitgeist moments in real-time, providing insights that help shape the organization’s response
  • Author executive level reports and make recommendations to stakeholders and leadership
  • Build relationships with a broad set of cross-functional business partners (including international teams) to understand their challenges and priorities, and drive action through insight delivery
  • Have a deep understanding of the entertainment industry’s social landscape, with an obsessive understanding of new developments and opportunities
About the team
The PV Global Brand & Digital Intelligence team drives global PV brand strategy decision-making by deeply understanding how audiences perceive the Prime Video service and which levers are most influential in driving brand love. Our work is global in scope, incorporating multiple countries with the goal of understanding universal customer truths, while also specifying local nuance per country by partnering with in-country insights leads. As part of the broader Brand & Social Strategy organization, we work with teams responsible for planning and executing strategies to drive the future of the PV brand.

  • Advanced degree in business or data analytics
  • Experience working in the entertainment industry
  • Experience working with data engineering and data science teams
  • Experience working and earning trust in a matrixed, global organization
  • Multilingual capabilities helpful

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $106,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
