Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sr. YouTube Media Buyer to join our growing team. As a Sr. YouTube Media Buyer, you will be responsible for planning and running YouTube ad campaigns for a highly trafficked social casino website. You will be driving customer/user acquisition, creating first-rate ad content that converts; and testing, tracking and optimizing campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of YouTube’s advertising ecosystem, trends and audience behavior.

Responsibilities:

● Plan, negotiate, activate, and optimize paid media campaigns specifically tailored for YouTube.

● Stay up to date with YouTube trends, algorithms, and new features to optimize campaign performance.

● Utilize data analytics to optimize targeting parameters for maximum reach and engagement.

● Produce regular performance reports, interpret data, establish benchmarks, and provide actionable plans and recommendations based on insights to drive ROI.

● Communicate across departments, working with dev, creative, and ops to improve campaign results based on your site and user analysis and recommendations.

● Make concrete creative recommendations to improve ad conversion rates, providing exact references/examples of effective content and copy.

● Curate and create ad content using photo, video, graphics, working with internal creative and any resources you may have.

● Test and retest the performance of ad creatives and copy, page design, and other campaign elements to improve results.

● Collaborate with team members to create full-funnel integrated marketing campaigns across all channels.

● Ensure all YouTube advertising campaigns comply with platform policies and guidelines. Stay informed about changes in YouTube’s advertising policies and adjust strategies accordingly.

Qualifications:

● 5+ years paid ads/media buying experience with proven success running all aspects of campaigns against CPA and conversion goals with significant monthly budgets ($500k+) with at least 2+ years significant focus on YouTube.

● In-depth knowledge of YouTube’s ad formats, targeting options, and analytics tools, with demonstrated track record of success in YouTube advertising.

● Self-managing and insatiably driven toward ROI and ROAs.

● Excellent communication skills - both written and spoken - to effectively liaise between teams.

● Extremely analytical and able to extract data, create reports, present findings, and make decisions to facilitate audience and revenue growth.

● Experience with A/B testing software such as Optimizely, VWO, or comparable tools.

● An eye for compelling content that converts and technical ability to create and make content adjustments as needed to get results.

● Highly motivated and self-starting - must be able to strategize and execute with minimal oversight on a day-to-day basis.

● Team-mentality. Must have a good attitude, maintain professionalism, be kind, and promote an overall healthy and people-first work environment.

● Can run multiple campaigns simultaneously - and can do it excellently.

● Can make pixel adjustments, write copy, and ensure the ads look and perform great (creative and graphic design chops are a huge plus).

Education:

● Bachelor's (Preferred) in Marketing, Advertising, or related field

Note: this is an LA based position with flexible hybrid remote opportunity.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $125,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
