We’re looking for a rock star Product Manager to join our team leading solutions for the entertainment industry that delivers world-class accounting and finance products. Part transformation leader and full-time product expert, this role will be pivotal in shaping our products and strategy.

As Product Manager II, you will work closely with all partners across the business within a fast-moving, goal-oriented culture of business partners, customers, peer Product Managers, development teams, QA, reporting, and other functions to meet product goals and improve the customer experience. The products we produce deliver meaningful changes to our customers’ experiences and produce tangible operational efficiencies for the business. In this role, you will drive strategy and execution for the entertainment industry’s leading production management products, Movie Magic Budgeting and Movie Magic Scheduling. The role will lead one or more cross-functional agile teams that are responsible for delivering industry defining products and services that serve the entertainment industry. This includes maximizing product-market-fit of the existing products to charting a future roadmap to ensure long-term viability of the current products and new products for the company. The primary focus of this role is to drive customer satisfaction & market share for the assigned set of EP products and services.

Movie Magic is used by the entire entertainment industry every day to manage the complex and high-pressure world of production . Both products are the DeFacto industry standard, and this position will be crucial to expanding the product’s mission critical role for its users

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define & Drive Product Vision: Own the full product lifecycle for core feature and platform-focused initiatives, ensuring timely delivery of solutions that meet both immediate user needs and EP’s objectives
  • Coordinate Product Execution: Create and refine detailed product requirements, user stories, and success metrics for initiatives spanning core features and inform our engineering teams of what problems need to be solved
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Engage deeply with users and stakeholders to identify pain points and uncover opportunities for impactful features that bring measurable value to the product
  • Deliver Solutions: Plan and organize releases, align development resources, and prepare the go-to-market teams to ensure success (on-time delivery, high-quality releases, measurable outcomes).
  • Measure and Optimize: Use data and product analytics to evaluate and adjust priorities, making informed decisions that maximize impact and align with EP’s objectives
  • Drive Growth: Continually evaluate business case and ROI to justify on-going investment and to identify growth opportunities for EP related to assigned product(s)
  • Drive Decision Making: Foster a culture that encourages product decision making
  • Adapt to Changing Industry: Stay informed about industry trends and technical advancements to identify opportunities for product enhancements

JOB REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED

  • 5-7 years of SaaS product management experience with progressive growth and demonstrated success working directly with end-users
  • Pro ven success managing complex, cross-functional projects from ideation through execution, with a focus on delivering measurable outcomes
  • Demonstrated experience in driving continuous improvement, leveraging user insights and analytics to iterate on product experiences
  • At least 3 years of experience with SaaS solutions serving pre-production, production and post-production processes
  • Knowledge of industry specific production management tools a plus ( e.g. Movie Magic Budgeting/Scheduling, Scenechronize, etc)
  • Working in or closely with film/TV production in a production management capacity (e.g. Production Coordinator, Assistant Director, Crew)
  • Excellent communication skills; timely communication with clear expectations
  • Bonus points for entertainment industry experience (not required)
  • Occasional travel may be required
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong technical acumen and attention to detail
  • BA or BS required

The salary range for this position is $107,000 to $130,000 and will be commensurate with experience related to the position.
