Accounts Receivable Specialist

About Us: Strictly FX is a leading special effects company known for creating stunning visual displays for concerts, television, and live events. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team and ensure accurate and efficient financial operations.

Position Overview: We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist with a strong background in AR and general accounting. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in accounting or at least 10 years of extensive experience in Accounts Receivable.

This is not a remote position; the selected candidate will be required to work on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the accounts receivable process, ensuring timely and accurate billing and collections.
• Monitor accounts and incoming payments, reconciling accounts to ensure accuracy.
• Prepare and analyze monthly AR aging reports and resolve discrepancies.
• Collaborate with clients and internal departments to resolve billing issues and disputes.
• Assist with month-end closing processes and general accounting tasks as needed.
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting OR a minimum of 10 years of experience in Accounts Receivable.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
