About the Role

This full-time Internal and Editorial Communications Specialist role, based out of our Austin office, reports to the Senior Director of Internal and Employer Brand Communications. What you’ll be doing:
- Ignite employee engagement: design and implement creative programs and initiatives that celebrate achievements, strengthen connections, and energize employees
- Curate and coordinate: ownership of the internal content curation process and maintain a dynamic editorial calendar that keeps employees informed and inspired
- Create compelling content: craft, edit, and share engaging content across internal communication channels, including email newsletters, Slack, intranet, and digital signage, ensuring every message resonates with employees
- Optimize communication tools: manage and enhance internal tools for email distribution and amplification, ensuring seamless and impactful communication
- Collaborate across teams: partner with internal teams to align editorial efforts with broader company goals, fostering a unified and cohesive message
- Document and refine: maintain and continuously improve internal style guides, editorial processes, and best practices to ensure consistency and excellence
- Support and elevate: contribute to broader internal communication initiatives, bringing fresh ideas and energy to every project
We’re excited if you have:
- Bachelor's degree in media, communications, journalism, or a related field
- 3-5 years of internal or corporate communications experience in editorial management, content curation, or a related role, preferably in streaming or digital media
- Exemplary writing and editing skills (writing test will be required)
- Sharp attention to detail
- Proven track record of ideating and executing engaging, fun communication campaigns
- Ability to work cross functionally with internal partners and stakeholders
- Strong project management skills to effectively execute in a timely and organized manner
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks and inbound requests
