Your New Role:
Representing, leading, and supporting the team to maintain and improve on high quality output.
Manage and traffic short-form ancillary media (apart from Global US originating content) and required materials (scripts, toolkits, title treatment etc.) to meet the needs of the GCO Centres of Excellence: Creative Services, Marketing, Social Media, Merchandising, PR, and Programming areas of WBD.
Tracking and coordination asset sourcing, priority, and deadline handling. Actively investigate methods to evolve process workflows to improve efficiency, increase creative opportunities, and maximize operational processes. Serve as primary Go-To resource for identifying and troubleshooting content sourcing issues while providing immediate resolution, while developing long term sustainable solutions.
Must work in alignment with APAC time zone.
The Daily – Major Activities
- Planning and Work assignment within the team.
- Staying across the content pipeline and managing the requests from surrounding teams.
- Assigning members of the team ensuring there is sufficient support to meet deadlines.
- Ensuring the team is set up for success by staying up to date with workload demands and planning ahead.
- Supporting the Team
- Ensuring the team are covered in terms of workload and time-off.
- Overseeing deadlines and supporting where required.
- Ensure transfer of knowledge and information flow to team members through training and documentation.
- Workflow Design and Implementation
- Design and implement workflows to increase efficiencies for the team
- Create and socialize SOPs and SLAs, and similar documentation, that supports standardization
- Reporting
- Create reporting for external teams as part of regular comms
- Use data to understand volumes and capacity to forecast resourcing requirements
- Troubleshooting Issues
- Assess and triage promotional assets content delivery challenges
- Prioritize issues and provide resolutions at the front end, whilst managing root-cause analysis
- Delineating correlative tasks with operational teams to obtain valuable sustainable solutions
- Workflow Optimization
- Gather insights from current promotional assets content workflows review to ascertain bottlenecks
- Exposing strategic opportunities that yield efficiency gains and define optimization points
- Staying Across End-to-End Process
- Work with cross-functional teams directly to understand and document their promotional assets workflows through process maps, business process and media flow diagrams, and data flow diagrams and identify along with them innovative solutions for their process, taking into consideration the end-to-end process of all teams involved.
The Essentials
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Communications, Broadcasting or related field or equivalent working experience
- At least 7 years of experience in Media Supply Chain
- 3+ years of experience in project management / business operations / management consulting in the media and/or digital and/or entertainment space
- Good understanding of image creation, video encoding, metadata, subtitling and dubbing
- Thrives in ambiguous, rapidly-evolving deadline-driven environments, constantly, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement; start-up experience a plus
- Organized self-starter with a strong attention to detail, accountable, a team player, and excellent written and verbal communication skills to interface with all levels within the organization and operate successfully in a cross-cultural environment
- Advocate for stakeholders and passionate about delivering the best user experience possible
- Business acumen on media operation
- Technical knowledge of media workflows and media formats
- Knowledge of postproduction workflows
- Fluent English
The Nice to Haves
- Knowledge of user experience basic principles
- High analytical skills
- Familiarity with tracking tools such as Monday.com
