Job Description
Entertainment Staffing Agency seeking an Assistant for our client, a Premier Entertainment Public Relations Agency handling A-List Talent. All candidates must have experience working as an Assistant to Talent Publicist. This is an in-person in office position. All candidates must be local to Los Angeles. This is an incredible opportunity for someone who wants a career in Public Relations and aspires to be a Talent Publicist.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Keeping phone logs / rolling calls
• Maintaining complex calendars
• Scheduling meetings, appointments, and client appearances
• Preparing expense reports
• Composing and responding to emails
• Drafting memos
• Booking travel and preparing detailed itineraries
• Attending events
• Special projects
• Additional responsibilities and tasks as needed
Requirements and Skills:
• Bachelor's Degree required
• Minimum of 1-year Assistant experience at a Talent PR Agency. This is a MUST! Internship experience is considered.
• Must have experience working with Talent and enjoy working with Talent
• MS Office; MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Cision is A+
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Superior writing skills are needed to succeed in this role
• Detail oriented and highly organized
• Thrives in fast paced environments and able to change priorities
• Team player with a no job too small or too big mentality
Salary:
$22.00/hour to $23.00/hour DOE + Excellent Benefits
