We are seeking a highly skilled Narrative Supertease Editor to create engaging, long-form promotional content that captures the essence of our show. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in reality TV editing, experience with business-focused content, and the ability to craft compelling narratives from unscripted footage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create captivating superteases, vignettes and long-form promotional content (2-5 minutes) that effectively showcase the show's unique blend of business reality and human impact stories
  • Craft cohesive narratives from raw footage, distilling complex business concepts and emotional journeys into engaging stories
  • Collaborate closely with producers, showrunners, and network executives to align edits with the show's vision
  • Edit mini-documentaries featuring the companies and entrepreneurs featured on the show
  • Incorporate graphics, music, and sound design to enhance the visual and emotional impact of the content
  • Meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards
  • Manage and organize large amounts of footage efficiently

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience editing reality TV shows, with a focus on long-form promotional content or superteases
  • Expert proficiency in Avid Media Composer
  • Proven track record of creating compelling narratives from unscripted content
  • Experience editing business-focused or entrepreneurial content
  • Strong storytelling skills with the ability to balance emotional impact and informational content
  • Excellent communication and collaborative skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with documentary-style editing
  • Familiarity with business and technology concepts
  • Knowledge of motion graphics and audio mixing
  • Experience working on shows similar to Shark Tank, The Profit, or Dragons' Den

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $70,599.00 - $76,853.00 per year
