Vice President of Strategic Accounts

What You’ll Do

  • Inspire and Lead: Manage and motivate a team of Strategic Account Executives (SAEs) to exceed revenue targets and drive meaningful growth within key business verticals.
  • Strategic Vision: Develop and execute innovative sales strategies tailored to the needs of our top clients, ensuring alignment with broader company objectives.
  • Client Partnership: Cultivate and deepen relationships with our largest advertising accounts, becoming a trusted advisor who understands their unique business challenges and goals.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with sales managers, directors, and leadership across the organization to leverage collective strengths and drive integrated solutions.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Utilize strong analytical skills to identify trends, optimize performance, and proactively address challenges to achieve continuous growth.

What You Bring

  • Proven Leadership: 7-10 years of sales management experience with a history of surpassing revenue goals and leading high-performance teams.

  • Strategic Thinker: Ability to proactively identify opportunities, think creatively, and implement effective sales strategies that drive tangible results.

In accordance with applicable law, Hearst is required to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role if hired in California. The reasonable estimate is between $215,000 and $230,000. Please note this information is specific to those hired in San Francisco. A final decision on the successful candidate’s starting salary will be based on a number of permissible, non-discriminatory factors, including but not limited to skills and experience, training, certifications, and education.
