We are currently seeking an Assistant - Administrative to join our Marketing Production & Operations team based in our New York, NY Headquarters.

JOB SUMMARY
The AMC Networks’ Marketing Department is seeking an assistant - Administrative to support its production and creative executives in the development, execution, and strategic initiatives for the group’s creative businesses.

This role requires the ability to quickly learn how to work across multiple executive offices within a media organization, requires excellent relationship skills, a high level of organization, detail, and time management, and an ability to find efficiencies in processes supporting fast paced projects in a creative environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage the executives’ calendars, including making appointments and prioritizing the most sensitive matters as well as aggregating desired outcomes for meetings; proactively help prep and organize executives to keep projects moving forward
  • Organize and track overall production/premiere schedules for the entire group
  • Act as the point of contact among executives, employees, clients and other external partners and ensure timely communications are happening seamlessly
  • Manage information flow between teams and executives in a timely and accurate manner to ensure production timelines are met and running on schedule
  • Track, review/screen and organize creative cuts, treatments, budgets for executive approvals; enforce proper internal executive approvals on all content; work with all internal teams to prioritize work and internal reviews to ensure approvals are happening in a timely and organized manner
  • Attend creative and production meetings as needed, and support / coordinate projects as needed
  • Maintaining comprehensive and accurate records of all production and creative elements; organizing and archiving all materials upon wrap up of projects
  • Attend events and shoots as additional production support as needed
  • Manage travel and expenses for executives and high-profile talent for production and events
  • Support with deck creation for (and not limited to) creative pitches, production & pre-production meetings, talent pitches, internal pitches and operation processes / communications
  • Support marketing department with overall admin requests (office assignments, department meetings, etc)

QUALIFICATIONS (Required & Preferred)
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of direct experience in corporate creative environments
  • Excellent MS Office knowledge
  • Outstanding organizational, communication (verbal and written) communications skills
  • and time management skills
  • Discretion and confidentiality and ability to interface with high level executives, talent, producers and creative talent
  • Must be willing to work outside of traditional business hours to support productions as needed
  • Must be willing to work in New York, NY in person
  • Must be able to attend shoots, events and corporate functions as needed, sometimes with little to no notice
The base compensation range for this position is $45,000 to $52,000 commensurate with experience.
